After two years of anticipation, theEVENT by MPI unfolded at the start of the summer, in person! It was the game changing and unconventional event that everyone has been waiting for. With over 250 attendees, the energy was high and AV-CANADA delivered an audio visual experience to match, with an eye catching stage for our event stars to walk out on.
Featuring 3 stand alone LED video walls with over 160 panels, we took this complex build that looked like one 40 feet wide video wall and created a unique entry experience for our stars to take the spotlight at the podium. AV-CANADA highlighted each presenters’ name on our unique and customizable podium with a built-in digital display. Even when the spotlight was not on stage, the digital display kept sharing content and sponsor details for event attendees.
The AV experience continued into a one-of-a-kind reception with a featured bar with sponsored monitors and an 8-speaker sound system for the DJ and live band. You could speak and drink at the same time, all which kept the party going on all night.
Our very own Rob Duncan took the stage on a panel discussion with industry leaders, discussing how technology will drive the future of meetings and events. As our technical producer, we want to thank Rob for his patience and motivation with managing all the event partners, sponsors and participants.
We also want to thank Anthony Tran for his incredible technical expertise with producing theEVENT closing video and for managing the matrix switcher to change content real-time minute by minute for the LED wall.
